Hillary is wrong on late-term abortion

I can't believe that people still think that you need to keep late term abortion legal to save a mother's life, and that there are politicians ready and willing to proclaim and propagate this outright lie. Hillary Clinton, in the final Presidential Debate, threw this out there with millions of people watching. It was very irresponsible of her to do that, but then she is hand-in-glove with pro-abortion groups. She is not at all worried about informing or empowering women with facts! Of course, Planned Parenthood and the pro-abortion lobby are very generous to her Campaign...

The fact is that no doctor would perform an abortion to save the mother's life in any medical or other emergency. By the time he'd have finished the procedure and torn off his gloves, the mother would be quite dead upon the table. Abortions need time not available in emergencies.

If a doctor needs to end a pregnancy in the 3rd trimester, this can be done swiftly by Cesarean Section. It takes 2 minutes from incision to delivery of the baby. Before that, anesthesia has to be provided - and as in any Emergency Surgery, this takes no time at all.

If late in pregnancy the mother is diagnosed with cancer of the uterus, and a hysterectomy is warranted as soon as possible, you still don't have to do a late-term abortion. Uterus and live baby can be removed. The baby can be cared for in the NICU.

Thankfully, it's not an everyday occurrence in a Birth Center to have to rush a pregnant woman in labor to the OR to save her life; but an undiagnosed placenta 'praevia' (in the way of the birth canal) can be life-threatening when labor starts, or a skyrocketing blood pressure can lead the doctors to decide to end the pregnancy with a C. Section.  It doesn't have to be an abortion; baby doesn't have to die, and abortion isn't the treatment for pre-eclampsia.

So Hillary Clinton is quite wrong to suggest that late-term abortions need to be legal to save mothers' lives. Late-term abortions are done for one reason only, to end babies lives. Often, the babies are disabled or sick, and this is why they are killed.

To expand a little on safety and emergency measures in pregnancy. Abortion clinics are not equipped to save mothers' lives if something goes wrong - it just doesn't work that way. They don't have the facilities to deal with massive hemorrhaging or cardiac arrest. In any emergency, an abortion clinic has to call 9-1-1. Any move to change the law to upgrade abortion facilities to include the equipment to save mothers' lives - by upgrading them to Surgery Centers for instance - has been resisted by the clinics themselves. Think Texas, where such a law was passed, and The Supreme Court struck it down. Don't expect an abortion clinic to save any patient's life! They don't want to; they have to spend too much money on equipment, and have properly qualified surgery staff on hand which they have to pay. They don't want to do it. For anesthesia they may use trained assistants, and some have been found using untrained or poorly trained assistants. This is because abortion clinics are not inspected often, for reasons entirely political. Dr. Gosnell's staff and facilities were dangerous and Dr. Gosnell was not an outlier.

A Pro-choice Culture

You've heard the phrase: 'Against Abortion? Don't have one'.  It assumes that abortion is an event that a woman can dismiss after the fact, and that those who oppose abortion are just control freaks or religious zealots.

But a society where abortion is legal  has the following characteristics:

  1. It creates a culture where a man doesn't have to take responsibility for the baby. I know a girl whose boyfriend walked away because she refused to have an abortion, and this is common, 'It's your choice' has turned into 'If you choose to have the baby you're on your own.'
  2. 'Choice' doesn't really mean a real choice. Most women who have abortions say they had 'no choice' but to do what they did.
  3. Coerced abortion is very, very common, and a girl who stands up to her relatives and has the baby has to be very strong. As a young midwife I remember a miserable 17-year old whose mother and aunt made her have an abortion. Personal testimonies are full of tales of coercion.
  4. A woman in a crisis pregnancy is in a crisis. When abortion is available, it provides a quick and easy way out of her wish not to be pregnant. But one should never make a speedy life-altering decision in a crisis.
  5. Many women regret their abortions, but many keep the grief under wraps. Some become  pro-choice activists, denying their real feelings, and find themselves permanently justifying their action to themselves and denying the humanity of the being that they disposed of. Dr. Carol Everett, a former abortionist, says that the most common reaction in the post-abortion recovery room is the woman saying, often with uncontrollable grief,: 'I killed my baby.' Before that, there was no mention of a baby. A pro-choice society is very uneasy about unhappy post-abortive women and refuse to acknowledge the existence of psychiatric illness following abortion. www.hushmovie explores this.
  6. There's plenty of evidence that surgical abortion causes damage to the cervix, impacting future pregnancies, causing extreme prematurity or death through miscarriage. Women are not apprised of the risks to future pregnancies when they sign the consent.
  7. Abortion is an industry with it's own slick marketing. The Repeal movement in Ireland's Republic is funded by George Soros' social experiment.

There are many other reasons why the above phrase jars, but those are the ones that come to mind just now.

'Can I have my Humanity back please?'

It's very simple, just keep reminding people that in order to kill another human being, you have to dehumanise that person first.
Ultrasounds don't lie. I made a few videos and tweeted them; the response from pro-lifers has been very positive, and from the other side - the usual abuse and name-calling...
Because they cannot argue with the Humanity. There wouldn't be any legal abortion - and certainly not a wide availability of abortion -  if the unborn child had remained a human being in the minds of opinion-makers and policy-shapers (most of the populace have a good idea, but can be swung by a combination of browbeating, bullying, mockery and the rare hard and tragic cases) and I think it shouldn't be too difficult to remind the voting publlic...the truth is very clear...

Hate-speech from Tolerant Liberals

'If the world hates you, remember it has hated me first,'

@Repeal the 8th.
@Global Repeal the 8th.

Perhaps I was naive posting little ultrasound films of babies in the 1st and 3rd trimester using the above tags, but I thought that many people do not know the humanity of unborn humans and how much they resemble us...I was unprepared for the Backlash.

Members of the two groups above called me a troll for doing this. I was told to go F....myself with a Luger. I wondered how to respond. How would Jesus like me to respond? After a while I told the tweeter that I forgave her the curse.

Worse was to come; other trollish people had been tagged, and I was told ' Mary had a little 'lamb' eat with garlic and rosemary...in other words, go eat your own 'lamb'.

I'm not on Twitter for the satisfaction of someone tweeting me and saying: 'I had a good think about what u said and maybe there is a God.'  Or' 'I saw the little one moving didn't know they could do that I'm prolife now' These things do happen, but few people have Damascus experiences. There are no athiests in the trenches, and these poor people might be there someday, and they might call on God and remember that someone told them He is Love. God loves the trolls too...

As a disciple, I have to try,..so I tweeted that I forgave them the curses. And I told them Jesus loved them. For this, I was called 'a predator'. I blocked that account, which seemed to belong to someone in Harvard. I was 'delusional' about God. And God and Love were two different things, Humanist pointed out to me when I tweeted that God IS Love. At least he was into some rational dialog, after the initial mockery.

But Harvard wasn't done. She had tagged others who replied with more imprecations. I was told: 'Jesus loves me but can't stand you' tweeted by others obviously asked to tweet me by the Blocked tweeters.

And a meme by another newly tagged person: 'Your Opinions are Shit'

These Tolerant Liberals! And we are supposed to love them, yes? Pray for them, yes? They hate us to pray for them, though...I don't know why that is.

But I refuse to lose faith in the humanity of people, their common decency, and desire for Truth. It could be that some seeds were sown in the hearts of some who received and viewed those ultrasounds. I mean they are the Truth, and though we are vilified, curse and abused for showing them, we can't give up. We can't give into Fear.

Renowned Professor - Repeal would mean Abortion on Demand.

Professor Gerard F. Whyte's article in the Irish Times as to why repeal of the 8th Amendment would lead to Abortion on Demand is going to change minds.

This surely will make the repealers very mad, because nearly every prochoice person wants term limits on abortion. In every country.

We will most likely see many people, lawyers or not, descend upon Professor Whyte like a ton of bricks. But this could smash the Repeal movement!

We'll see lawyers hotly refuting him and they will most likely assert that that Consitiution Law is not his specialty (Constitutional Law actually is). Whyte has a string of letters after his name which I tried to copy and paste but it just didn't format well.

And thank you, Irish Times, for publishing this. What an improvement over O'Toole's bizzare piece yesterday about 'zygopaths' which was refuted with grace and erudition on the Letters page.

Wasting my Time with the Irish Times

  ZYGOPATHS

Fintan O'Toole has called those of us who believe life begins at conception 'zygopaths'. Say that word out loud. What is he really saying?

Here's a letter I penned to the Editor of the Irish Times this morning. They should be totally ashamed of themselves!  I subscribed to their digital edition in good faith, thinking that perhaps there were a few things I could say that could light up a dark corner of their minds. I've been studying the abortion culture for 35 years; I looked after mothers and babies, you'd think they'd be grateful for a few thoughts. But no - they are superior intellect, and don't dare challenge them!

Dear Editor

I tried to submit a comment on your website but the submit button didn’t work and my laptop started to sound like a plane taking off.  My laptop is new but your website causes a lot of memory problems.

This is in response to your sanitised video of the March for Choice on Saturday 24th which appears on today’s newsfeed.
Your cameras deftly avoided the disgusting signs. I’ve seen at least five. They can be viewed at: http://celticmidwife.blogspot.com/. My apologies for their rude and graphic nature, but the mainstream media didn’t even mention they existed, and someone has to try to tell the full story, amateurs like me on social media, etc. Because you are not doing your job.

Those who dehumanise the unborn child also dehumanise themselves. Even Planned Parenthood, in the 1950’s, said:  ‘Abortion kills the life of a baby.’ Then after RvW, they saw the dollar signs. Suddenly it’s not a baby any longer, even when ultrasound showed human beings kicking, turning, sucking fingers etc.

I’ve decided to unsubscribe from The Irish Times as I don’t want to help fund Repeal the 8th. Repeal has billionaire George Soros for that.  Don’t you know that the choice to kill an unborn baby leads to all kinds of Atrocities (babies left to die, babies killed after birth etc, all that stuff that you wish to ignore to be trendy and politically correct. Ever heard of Dr. Kermit Gosnell? I suppose not. America’s most prolific serial killer, he found it more convenient to wait until the babies were born before killing him or her. ‘This one’s so big it could walk me to the bus!’ Canada has at least two hundred babies born alive, left to die, each year. And the New York Times interviewed Ailbhe Smyth, who raved about the Canadian model.

Not to mention the harm the abortion industry does to women. Marie Stopes, how’s that nowadays? Something about untrained staff and consent problems with vulnerable women. Never mind. Old news, one-day only – now thankfully buried. Abortion has to be good! Has to be!

Just so you know what the Irish Times is supporting by pushing abortion – sorry, choice.

I hope that this letter will suffice as an Unsubscription Notice, because I can’t find the link to unsubscribe under Account etc. Please no point in telling me to go back and try. Your website uses up more memory than my  new laptop can cope with.

Size doesn't matter in a big, big world

http://avondhupress.ie/just-abortion-debate-needs-another-middle-aged-man-dictating-womens-rights/
Dónal O'Keefe doesn't see anything valuable about an unborn child. One thing he thinks is that because it's small, the unborn child can't be as important as a grown human.

A human embryo as you can see, limbs not fully formed
but they are moving just the same!

Mr. O’ Keefe, I will just deal with your argument that size matters. Size is relative. From outer space, we are all so small we seem to have no importance. I’m sure you think you’re important, and I think I’m important as well, all grown-up and sentient as I am – with complex thought processes and needs, I must be, yes?
A zygote, embryo or foetus (unborn child, whatever you want to call the human in the womb) is indeed very tiny compared to a grown-up human. One would be tempted to think it’s almost a nonentity. But what this human lacks in size, it makes up for in oomph. The thing is, this human being would put you to shame if you were in a contest on the dance floor. You’d creep off, hot, sweaty, and clutching your chest, after 20 minutes of ‘Duela el Corazon’ to down a Ballygowan at your table while the zygote, tiny as it is, continued to dance. It would divide, develop, move, grow, divide, develop, move, grow, non-stop! Keep it up for hours. ‘How does it do it?’ you might ask as you crawl home. You’ll try again, next week, you won’t be beaten…but next Saturday night, the damn thing has doubled in size and energy. The third Saturday night, there’s a flippin’ Heart there and now the beat really begins, and its rhythm is twice as fast as yours too. Meantime, you’re wondering if you should ask your doctor if you should have a Stress Echo. This new human’s unstoppable – and you suspect that it’s practicing its moves all the week, even while you are inactive, flopped on the couch after a day’s writing. Somersaults, damn it, at 10 weeks! Still only the size of your hand and it has you beaten.
You look at your hand. The nails are a bit longer than last week, and that’s about all the change your body had, but this new person (according to the dictionary a human being is a person) has grown itself an entire set of organs - in just ten weeks! We’re degenerating, friend, while this boy or girl –and the gender is evident by now – is outpacing us in every way. The girl has her ovaries – eggs and all inside!
But there’s no real brain activity, you argue. Not really – a human without the ability to think and be sentient, can’t have the same importance as a grown up person who has the right to all kinds of things like life and education and a career and wine and books and holidays.
Alaska. It’s magnificent! Outside the capital, Anchorage, there’s a hill. Drive about 2,000 feet up and get out of the car and look down at the city. But Anchorage, with all its people including busy women, nerdy youth, middle-aged men, children born and unborn, is only a blip. Totally insignificant, swallowed up in the mountains and forests. Then you will realise, as I did, that we are all really very small. Very, very tiny.
But be careful, or you might get a creepy feeling you’re not alone. You turn around. There’s a grizzly bear staring at you from 30 yards away. This bird-brained lumbering beast thinks he’s better than you. He’s not afraid of humans, if he knew what a human was. He just sees something he can kill and eat, or eat while it’s still alive – he doesn’t care. No point in making a run for the car. He’s faster than Lightning Bolt. He’s bigger and faster than us and he knows that…we are completely in his power.
You see, everything is relative…

I'm having a very good discussion on Twitter right now, and it's about hushfilm.com WIRED has branded the speakers as False Witnesses. Given a history of them all.

https://rewire.news/false-witnesses/#angela-e-lanfranchi

1. Angela LaFranchini

I don't see that they found any prolife (or anti-choice, to use their phrase) bias, unless stating her medical opinions and findings is a bias. She doesn't belong to any prolife group.
So what if she was paid for 'Services Rendered' to the NJ AG office. Doctors get paid!

2.Dr. James Anderson
Again, no bias, just a wish to see abortion providers keep a high standard. The standard of care provided in many abortion clinics is deplorable. See www.clinicquotes.com

3.Dr. Joel Brind
The 2003 Conference stank to high heaven with what I saw of it, and the NCI are very afraid to revisit the subject. What have they got to be scared of if they are correct? They should do another study with correct demographic subjects and publish the results. 2003 is a long time ago in Cancer Research.

Teens, Abortion & Breast Cancer

I copied and pasted the conclusion here. Read the full article at  http://bit.ly/2bJAp

note: IA refers to Induced Abortion

"Abortion and the Risk of Breast Cancer: Information for the Adolescent Woman and Her Parents

Conclusion

Evidence suggests that IA prior to a full-term pregnancy contributes to the high rates of breast cancer seen around the world. The current studies demonstrating a dose-related association between pre-term induced abortion and breast cancer strongly suggest a causal effect. Although further study is warranted, this risk must be known by adolescent females. The American College of Pediatricians recommends that all medical professionals provide this information as part of complete health care to all adolescents and their parents. It is important that parents reinforce this information to their daughters. All health educators should include this information in any health/sexuality education class in which abortion is discussed." Scripts

The hostility on Twitter towards people who tell the truth and give facts about unborn babies is very startling. Today, I felt - wounded. But I'm back. .
The other side have scripts very familiar to me from the US Abortion lobby.
My body My choice. etc etc.
So let me form a script too.
My Script:
It's a life. It's human. Don't dehumanise the human. Kermit Gosnell. Atrocities. Abortion is bad for women. I saw it close-up in UK. Gendercide. The heart is meant to beat for 70-80 years.
Born since 1983? The 8th protected you, Not keeping it for the next gen? Sad.

'Four legs good, Two legs bad'

So here I am, tweet, reply, retweet, retweet with comment! Oh to hear the same script repeated over and over, as if it was a scene from a dystopian movie. Like the chant from 'Animal Farm'

'Autonomy' 'Her body her choice'  'So brave. So couragous.' (re TwoWomenTravelling) 'We need to have this procedure in my own country.' 'backward state' 'Ireland has failed women' 'I'm not a criminal' (no woman has been prosecuted by the Republic of Ireland ever). 'Twelve women had to go to England today for abortions because they are not available in their own country.'

'It's the religious right.' 'it's the Catholic Church.' 'it's hypocrisy.' 'there are no civil rights before  birth.'  (there are, in Ireland! But not in the USA) 'The religious nuts.' 'zealots.' 'haters'.

Refusing to be drawn on term limits. Refusing to talk about a baby, ending life. It's just the script that I have been hearing here in the USA for years, now chanted in Ireland, widely promoted by the blind, liberal media, Their eyes are closed to the reality of abortion, the pulling apart of a baby in the womb.

'Four legs good, two legs bad.'

Cyril the African lion, killed by a big game hunter caused uproar around the world. But the babies who survived the abortions carried out by Dr. Kermit Gosnell, and subsequently murdered by him by stabbing scissors into their necks, caused not a murmer. Not a whisper...

Four Legs Good, Two Legs Bad.  Kind of ironic.

(I love animals by the way; hate cruelty of all kinds).

This interesting script, used by Americans, British, Australians, etc completely avoid the fact that abortion ends the life of a human being and is not necessary to save the life of a mother. Maternity Care in Ireland is of an excellent standard.

And I feel I have a responsibility to remind people of that, and about the Abortion Industry, and that if they were born since 1983, the 8th protected them. Not keeping it for the next generation? Sad.

This was an unusually balanced discussion from Vincent Browne 'Tonight' on TV3. The presenter was Alison O'Connor.

No Signal Found

This was a tweet to Enda Kenny from TwoWomenTravelling. I find it poignant, given that a baby's heart ceased to beat around that time, but that did not at all occur to the Tweeter, the mother's friend.

I hope that the mother can find healing now. Abortion is such an unnatural thing to do. Mother Nature tends to be upset by it. It is the closest physical relationship possible between two human beings. Sad today about this.

Now What.

Well she did it. the baby is gone down the sluice. Everyone congratulating the woman on her bravery and on her courage in tweeting her experience. So sad how people have been deceived. It's like the baby was a Nothing, and that Ireland doesn't allow Teeth to be extracted, and you have to go to England to get it done. It is a living Human Being!
We have to face it, the unborn Irish child is now a social nothing, or so it seems, but maybe that is just today.
What are we up against? A mainstream media who have done everything to dehumanise the unborn child, and demonize and vilify those who dare to defend the baby and say that abortion is bad for women.
I feel sorry for the mother, I feel she is being used. 30+ years of propaganda by the Irish media have taken the horror out of ending a new life.

Two Women+Baby Travel

The last several hours have been emotionally exhausting and very, very sad. TwoWomenTravel has the worlds attention. But it is really TwoWomenandaBaby Travel. TwoWomenWillReturn (if one of them has not had complications. They happen. Everyone has forgotten Ms. Chithira, who bled to death in a taxi after an abortion at a Marie Stopes Clinic. Safety? More about Stopes later.)
So I have been tweeting to @twowomentravel offering help and begging her to think it over more, links to www.anew.ie and information as to how abortion can harm a woman too.
So as usual, I see all this misinformation on tweets about unborn life, abortion. And I have been trying to tweet back with facts and links etc etc. The level of ignorance is very alarming! 'What's the abortion industry?'  Refer him to Sarah Terzo clinicquotes.com.  Nobody has a clue that abortion is harmful to women. Even on a day when Marie Stopes Clinics have had to cancel abortions due to pending investigations about untrained anaesthesia staff and the method of obtaining consents from vulnerable women. So I'm tweeting back links all over the place. If only one person begins to look further and accept the fact that abortion is bad for women too, (nobody mentions a baby in TwoWomenTravel) it will have been worth it. 'Her body her choice' they say. I reply: 'But not her choice to kill. Abortions MUST end in death.'  I am not taking the insults personally, hater etc.
George Soros 47th Munich Security Conference 2011 crop.jpg
George Soros (Wikipedia image)
TwoWomenTravel is great propaganda for the pro-aborts. Added to this, there's a leak that George Soros is funding efforts to repeal the 8th Amendment. Soros of all people. There's big noney for you. Mind your own business Soros and stop trying to end the lives of Irish children.
I have tried to comment on irish times but I think I have been blocked, which is a pity, because I am always polite. Guillaume on the other hand likes to call people Fruitcakes every post he writes. Hardly dignified for the Irish Times. I shall unsub soon. What is the point if they delete civil, and well-written Facts? They have an agenda for sure. I didn;t really beleive it before, but it's dawning on me that the Irish Times do not want the Truth.
It's an ugly war, with very ugly words. Money talks Ugly.
I'm off to eat something and drink a glass of Merlot. Abortion is murder and I believe more and more that it is actually the work of satan. How else can you describe the ending of innocent lives? First the  deceit (it't not a baby') then the killing. Genocide it is.

Minister for Children - preemies are your brief or not?

The Minister for Children should see the documentary ‘HUSH’ by Canadian Punam Kumar Gill, a Prochoice journalist who was curious as to how the myth about abortion harming women came about. She was curious also as to why premature births are on the rise. What she found was that there is a direct link between surgical abortion and subsequent premature birth.  This was a surprise to her, but not to many who know that this is borne out by several independent studies. The Minister for Children should want to prevent premature births, yes or no? Is Ms. Zappone even aware of this link? It is there and it seems totally wrong for her to call for more abortion instead of less.
Unfortunately, Miss Gill also found a great resistance to tackle this elephant in the room, because of – of course - political correctness! HUSH is so titled for a reason. Gill was also curious as to why 5 states in the USA required a women considering abortion to be informed of the link between abortion and breast cancer. This was a crazy anti-choice religious zealot idea! There is no link, right? Wrong. The science shows otherwise. HUSHed again. Political Correctness is now the Enemy of Women, and the film is at hushfilm.com. Ms Zappone, please watch! You will never call for more liberal abortion again, because even if you think a human unborn is not a child (!) and therefore not your responsibility, babies born too early clearly are.

Personhood for Preborns

Irish Times comment (which they removed)

(There's a link to the article below) published August 18th 2016 - 'Most Discussed' item that day

There are a few distasteful aspects to this impromptu interview that Laura Kennedy had with the stranger at the next table in the beautiful hotel in rural Ireland. Firstly, this woman may not have been willing to share exactly why she was against abortion, and she is entitled to her privacy, after all, she wasn’t out campaigning, was she? Ms. Kennedy didn’t have the right to try to pry her deepest convictions from her. Second, Ms. Kennedy’s account reveals the intellectual superiority she feels to the lamb-eating mother of four who talks proudly of her son’s sporting successes. Kennedy is the educated female and the other person is the ignorant countrywoman, the kind of person that she thinks is keeping Ireland back.  And she wanted to catch her out. When she reads Ms. Kennedy’s article, how is she going to feel? Put down and sad, perhaps. But then, she hardly reads the Irish Times, does she, so Ms. Kennedy needn’t feel guilty.

Perhaps I can explain “Eileen’s” reluctance to share her views. For decades now people who are against abortion have been ridiculed. There is a hesitation to speak what we know to be factual, anything from Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s atrocities to Live-borns, to the link between surgical abortion and subsequent premature birth, to the science of life beginning at conception, etc etc. This nice woman probably thought, ‘This woman is going to mock me.’  Ms. Kennedy could see her discomfort, after all.  And by the way, the middle aged countrywoman was correct. The newly fertilized egg – the Zygote - is alive. It sees more changes in an hour than you or I do in a year. If that’s not a live being, therefore a life - I don’t know what is.

http://bit.ly/2blUuCr  Here is the original article.
